Purchased this lens with the t2i camera and I can’t seem to take it off (not literally) because the range is so useful.
BUILD QUALITY
People expecting awesome build quality need to recognize this is not an “L” lens, this is a consumer grade lens, period. That being said, I was still happy with the solid feel of the lens. It does have a metal mount which gives added security.
SIZE
This lens is quite a bit bigger (longer and wider) than the 18-55mm IS lens. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing though because to me, it makes the lens easier to handle. The zoom ring has a good size to it as well. Read more...
